500 locations worldwide. There has been no damage to machinery
or any injuries to users. ADRail USA™ will also be happy
to include any safety messages or warnings at regular intervals
to remind riders to safely exit the escalator. ADRail™ has
been installed in high traffic areas to test real-life installations
in shopping malls, hotels, transit systems and department stores.
ADRail™ holds TüV certification and does not hinder
the operation of escalators or moving walks.

Will
ADRail™ replace the actual escalators or handrails?
No. ADRail USA™ uses a safely applied adhesive film that
adheres to existing escalator handrails. We will perform a complete
inspection prior to installation and WILL NOT install ADRail™
film on damaged handrails. ADRail™ film can be customized
to fit any consumer handrail specifications and is easily removed
with no damage to the handrails, which are thoroughly cleaned
before installation and after removal.

What
about the possibility of damage?
In the rare case that ADRail™ film causes damage to property,
ADRail USA™ has an insurance policy in place that will cover
the repair and/or replacement of damaged property.

How
long and how many technicians will it take to install ADRail™
film?
The patented ADRail™ installation ensures a smooth process
and a flawless surface. The entire process requires an average
of an hour and one technician. Removal is also quick and easy
with no messy clean up.

Would
the escalator or moving walk need to be disassembled to install
ADRail™?
No. ADRail™ is applied using a patented applicator. The
film can be applied within one handrail rotation and does not
require the equipment to be disassembled. Depending on the dynamics
of the site location, an ADRail™ installation can be completed
within an hour.

Can
ADRail™ be applied to a rubber (SBR) handrail?
Yes. ADRail™ can be applied to all variations of handrails
providing that the handrails are in optimum operating condition.
For long-term branding, we suggest ADRail™ be installed
on NT handrails made from durable thermoplastic urethane.

How
durable is ADRail™ film?
ADRail™ film has undergone extensive field-testing under
varying atmospheric conditions and hazards. The film is a proprietary
formulation, specifically developed to withstand the forces
applied to it from the escalator and passengers, as well as
specific environmental conditions.

Will
the ink fade or transfer to hands/clothing?
No. This is impossible due to the proprietary manufacturing
technique used to print and manufacture the film. ADRail™
film has been thoroughly tested and the ink does not fade.

How
long does ADRail™ film last?
ADRail™ film is highly durable and comes with a warranty.
Many customers have used ADRail™ for long-term branding
campaigns that lasted 12-24 months. Typically, 3 months is the
standard duration for an advertising or branding campaign.

What
about vandalism?
ADRail™ film has been specially developed to resist vandalism.
Due to the type of adhesive used to bond the film to the handrail,
ADRail™ is quite difficult to peel for an untrained vandal.
Cuts can easily be repaired on the spot using replacement film.
Graffiti type vandalism can be easily cleaned with a locally
available, environmentally safe, citrus-based cleaner/ degreaser.

How
do I keep the ad looking its best for the duration of the campaign?
ADRail™ film requires minimal maintenance due to its smooth,
glossy finish. Stains from the escalator drive mechanism or passenger
use clean up easily using a locally available, environmentally
safe, citrus-based cleaner/ degreaser.

Is
ADRail™ permanent?
No. ADRail™ is temporary, allowing site owners to maximize
revenue potential by frequently changing ads for national campaigns
or local promotions.

Will
ADRail™ film damage my handrails?
No. ADRail™ film is applied to the handrails with a pressure
sensitive adhesive. It is not permanent and will not damage the
handrail. A trained technician can easily remove ADRail™
